Introduction

This Refunds & Cancellations Policy explains how Toolbox Titans Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles cancellations, refunds and changes to bookings for property maintenance, carpentry and related services. We operate in Northampton, United Kingdom, and follow UK consumer protection regulations.

Cancellations by the Customer

Cancelling more than 14 days before the booking

  • No cancellation fee applies.

  • If materials have already been purchased, these must be reimbursed in full.

Cancelling within 14 days of the booking

A cancellation fee of 25% of the total quoted job value will be charged. Any materials purchased must also be reimbursed in full.

Cancelling within 48 hours of the booking

A cancellation fee of 50% of the total quoted job value will be charged. Materials purchased must be reimbursed in full.

Same‑day cancellation or no‑show

If you cancel on the day of the appointment or are not present when we arrive:

  • A 50% cancellation fee will apply.

  • Materials purchased must be reimbursed in full.

These fees reflect the loss of reserved labour time and the impact on our schedule.

 Materials Already Purchased

If materials have been bought specifically for your job:

  • You must reimburse 100% of material costs

  • We will provide receipts as proof of purchase

  • Materials may be left with you upon request

This applies regardless of when the cancellation occurs.

 Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data under the following lawful bases:

  • Contract — to provide services you request

  • Legitimate interest — to operate and improve our business

  • Consent — when you submit forms or accept cookies

  • Legal obligation — for tax, accounting or regulatory requirements

Changes to Bookings

If you need to change the date or time of your booking:

  • We will try to accommodate your request

  • Changes made within 48 hours of the appointment may still incur a cancellation fee if we cannot fill the slot

Refunds

Refunds apply only in the following situations:

5.1 Overpayment

If you accidentally pay more than the invoiced amount, we will refund the difference within 7 working days.

5.2 Work not completed

If we are unable to complete the work due to our own fault or circumstances, we will refund any payment made for the incomplete portion.

5.3 Quality concerns

If you believe work has not been completed to a reasonable standard:

  • Contact us within 7 days

  • We will inspect the issue and offer a repair or correction at no additional cost

  • Refunds are only issued if we cannot reasonably resolve the issue

Cancellations by Toolbox Titans Limited

We may cancel or reschedule work in the event of:

  • Illness

  • Unsafe working conditions

  • Non‑payment

  • Severe weather

  • Supply issues

  • Circumstances beyond our control

If we cancel, no cancellation fee will be charged to you.

Processing Time

Refunds and cancellations are processed within 7 working days. Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
