What we did:
I began by removing the chipboard wallpaper then filled all gaps in the walls with filler and sanded them down. Then I painted the ceiling and removed the skirting boards, sanded away any dents and rough edges, painted, glossed and then reinstalled them. Next I replaced and painted the window seal black to complement the overall look. To achieve a flawless finish with the new wallpaper, I applied a thick lining paper to conceal any minor imperfections left after sanding the walls. The tree pattern on the wallpaper was meticulously aligned to ensure seamless transitions. To help the customer save costs, I recommended painting two walls and wallpapering the others. (I didn't lay the carpet).

Ceiling and Skirting
We began by preparing and sanding the walls after removing the old woodchip wallpaper. We then removed the skirting boards and sanded them down, eliminating any dents and rough edges. We applied two coats of white undercoat primer to the skirting boards, followed by two coats of gloss. While waiting for the skirting boards to dry, we turned our attention to the ceiling, applying two fresh coats of white emulsion. During the drying time, we also took the opportunity to dispose of the customer’s job-related rubbish.
Wallpaper and Paint.
We have applied the wallpaper to the designated walls and painted the two corresponding walls. The curtain rail has been installed, and their was three bin bags contain waste from the lining paper and wallpaper installation.

Quality assurance check
The carpet installation was not performed by me. Coincidentally, its was laid after I asked I came back to take picture for the Before and After page.
