Stage Three: Mix and Apply
Before Allaying any new grout mixture make sure the walls are clean and dry. Choose the right type of grout (sanded or unsanded) based on the width of the grout lines. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to mix the grout to a smooth, peanut butter-like consistency.

Stage Two: Removing the old grout.
To remove the mouldy grout we used a grout saw, oscillating tool, basically any a grout removal tool to carefully remove the old grout from between the tiles.
Vacuum or brush away the dust and debris from the grout lines to ensure a clean surface.

Stage Four: Clean up
In this particular project, the client requested dark grey grout for the bathroom. Our standard recommendation is to use dark grout primarily with newly installed tiles or tiles of a similar color. This is because white tiles tend to conceal minor imperfections, such as scratches or blemishes. When darker grout is applied, these imperfections become significantly more noticeable, which can affect the overall appearance of the tiled surface. Wipe down the grouted walls with a slightly damp sponge. and buff the tiles with a paper towel.
